Adeptus mechanicus are basically cyborgs with robes, and are an organisation that are manufacturers for the imperium. This means they have the ability to make heavily armoured vehicles and powerful and advanced weaponry. If you like the steam punk style, then you will instantly attach your loyalty to the adeptus mechanicus. They have a large range of units available but I will mention a few stand outs.
For the troops, you have the skitarii rangers and Vanguard. For fast attack you have the options of Ironstriders and Dragoons. Finally for Heavy support popular options are Onager Dunecrawler and the Skorpius Disintegrator.
